Elf-Mail
Fullscreen Recommended.
"If you need to stay in touch, rely on e-mail - short for elf-mail, of course!
Play as an elf who picks up and delivers mail between the windowsills of a charming city. In this relaxing platformer, make use of a satisfying movement system to hop, slide, spin, and dance between the rooftops.
This short game was developed in 48 hours for the Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2021, which features the theme "Joined Together". Even when people cannot be together, there are still ways to stay connected. This game introduces a whimsical approach to the words, "no one is an island".
We hope you enjoy helping join people together. (and scaring the pigeons!)

Arrow Keys to Move, Space to jump, Down+Space to drop.
Grab the bouncing envelope to collect it, and bring it to the right window to deliver it.

i play this game when i listen to true crime LMAO
i wonder how the elves feel about helping deliver bad messages
Very cute game 😊
I managed to get quite some speed sometimes off the ropes! Haha
Hi Rook Rules! Thanks for streaming our little game! We haven't done much since the jam, but your idea for twitch integration is really cool!
I can't promise it will get done, but your comments and video have inspired me to give it a look.
Cheers!
im so glad you got to see the video, happy you liked it. if you do happen to do this lemme know because I be the first person in line to try
are there plans to maybe get this game twitch integrated? like maybe viewers can use their redeems to have their messages turned into letters on screen or have them be the voices of the pigeons as the players scares them off when running past them
great game overall I haven't played it since the GameJam but coming back I can see why I liked it
my yearly comment for this great game! makes me really really happy <3 i have printed a picture of the little bird and put it on my wall :)
<3 I love it! Thanks for the comment, it's nice to hear from people who enjoy playing our little game.
more movement (speed) options are a must for this game
Do you know when this game will be out to download and play without a web browser?
i would love to see this system developed into a full game, i can imagine a whole story told by delivery emails from one place to another. i think itd be really sweet and cute if you choose to do something like that, i think you have a solid base here :D
really cool, was looking for "game feel" and movement inspiration. Felt really good just following the markers, jumping around, and I noticed the snapping to platforms if you get close enough within a margin of error, felt really nice. Thanks for making this!
this is a amazingly relaxing game. stumbled upon it by accident and have been playing it when i wanna relax. relaxing, simple and AWESOME!
This game is amazing!!! The name reminds me of the episode in Hilda where she gets lost in the forest, and she finds a cabin.
I liked it so much! I drew a picture of the cute elf on my window.
Absolutely fenomenal!! i know im overhyping this game but trust me this is one of the best game jam games ever. The controls are smooth and never complicated. The map is filled with personality and depth. The animation of the character makes want to fund a netflix animated show obout her. The only bad thing i could say about this game is that it only has one map. Please expand this game!!!
The show Hilda is on Netflix and they have elves that look a lot like in this game, and though the show's not about them they're a major part of the show. You might like it, it's really good.
you think i havent watched it? ha, i really like it one of my favorites
the name reminds me of episode 11 of Hilda when she gets lost in the forest and sends a tiny letter to her mom
Such a sweet game 33 letters delivered and I went from bored (didn't know what to do on my computer) to pleased and feeling light, ready to do something good with my day.
the little spin is my favorite thing
This game feels really good to play, especially how the sounds kind of coincide with the music. I feel like if there was some more depth to the gameplay and the little story nuggets, you all might have a real gem on your hands. I definitely think you all should build on this concept. Great work.
Love it all! The cute little birds and the pretty sky and the twirl and the emails people send and the music. SO GOOD.
It's great but I think the platforming was a little weird. Sometimes you would just snap to a platform that you were only touching a bit.
This kinda looks like the cartoon hilda
Loved the Art. Everything is so cute and bright. Lovely.
You can flesh the concept a bit more post the review, great job.
BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.
It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.
